the blog
November 11th, 2016Getting the website up and running has been more of a struggle than I wanted it to be. There always seems to be something that needed tweaking here, or fixed over there. An industry message that had changed, or a new vendor solution that was announced. I wanted everything to be perfect because that old saying "You only get one chance to make a first impression" is very true, especially as an early-stage start-up. However there is another saying and that is, "If you wait for everything to be perfect then you will never get anything done!" So, that being said, I am going live with our website....ready or not!
I hope that you follow Observable Media as we ramp up over the next few months and start being more vocal about both industry issues, patient outcomes, technology intergration, and our unique solutions to them. I also hope that you provide us with the feedback we need to help make a change in the healthcare industry. This is an exciting time on our industry and I look forward to being a part of it.

The journey over the last several months have been very interesting. Observable Media has had an opportunity to work with several hospital systems as we help drive increased patient satisfaction and staff engagement in emergency departments. The ability to spend some time learning processes and making real-time changes to those processes and achieving initial success has been a very powerful experience....for both staff, patients, and myself!
